My name is Hima Dasika and I am an event planner in the hospitality/restaurant industry.  Food has always been a hobby of mine – from trying out new restaurants, to cooking new and interesting cuisines, to hosting dinner parties for friends and family.  I just moved back to the NYC area after living in Washington DC for four years.  I will always consider New York City my home and am so excited to be back in the city that in my opinion has the best of the best in terms of food and restaurants.  I just started my own company called Dewdrop Special Events and since I have a bit more free time to experiment with my cooking, I thought I would share my cooking experiences with you.  I hope you, as a reader, enjoy my blog posts and I welcome feedback from each and everyone of you!  To my friends and family – thank you for your continuous support in all my endeavours!!
